Stay Frosty
A jam-packed collection of practical card magic effects and moves from Andrew Frost.
Andrew Frost (who some of you may know as @sleightlyobsessed) is one of the most talented card magicians in the world and has used his otherworldly chops to earn a loyal following online. The only thing the underground sensation enjoys as much as performing card magic, is teaching it.
“Stay Frosty” contains the tricks and moves he performs the most. These are true workers that he consistently uses to get huge reactions, and now you can too. They all use a regular deck of cards and many of them are impromptu.
The material in this collection is for advanced beginners to intermediate performers. The range is from almost self-working to some more knuckle-busting things, but if you are pretty comfortable with a deck of cards, it's all within your reach.

The Tricks
Do You Remember When
Multiple people are given small packs of cards to shuffle. The cards are then re-assembled and they even get to choose which packets are put back face-up or face-down. You’re left with what seems like a chaotic mess of cards facing different ways. That is until you look closer and see the face-up cards form a phone number (or whatever number you want).
Location, Location, Location
Your audience helps you shuffle the deck before launching into a multi-phase routine where each step is more impossible than the last. First, you cut to the four Aces. A card is then selected and you instantly find the three mates. For the final phase, another card is selected. This time though, they get to freely stop you three times as you run through the cards. Defying the odds, they find the other three mates.
Ace Race
A named four of a kind is removed and then lost in the deck as the audience fairly wash shuffles the cards. They then freely select four face-down cards. You can even let them change their minds if they want. These cards are turned over to reveal they are the named four of a kind.
Assembled
Andrew breathes new life into the assembly plot with this fun routine that centers around teaching yourself to cheat at card games. After dealing yourself the four Aces, you explain how this would make it easy for you to get caught cheating. So, to make it harder to spot, you'd need to convince everyone else that the Aces have been split up. As you say this, you deal them into four separate piles among indifferent cards. Your participant can choose one pile. You then make the Aces all jump to the pile in their hands.
Spell That Again
This incredible spelling trick happens mostly in their hands and eliminates much of the process that typically plagues these types of effects. One card is selected and another is peeked. Each person then spells the name of their card, one card per letter. The last card they land on is shown to be their card. This one is as fair as it is amazing.
Two Card Transpo
Two people select cards and sandwich them in-between their hands. Both cards then magically switch places. This rapid-fire stunner is very open and clean, making it more convincing than many other similar routines.
Ruff Shuffle Aces
A rapid-fire Ace location routine that happens during the process of casually and fairly mixing the cards.
Throw Away
A card visually vanishes and then reappears in the deck. Clever construction combined with beautiful visuals make this a real gem you’ll love performing.
The Moves
Switch On
An incredibly deceptive and open card switch.
Switch Off
A remarkably clean and fooling vanish of a single playing card.
Wash Control
An incredible control of a selected card that happens under the guise of what looks like a genuine wash shuffle. All of the cards seem to be genuinely mixed.
Ruff Shuffle Control
What looks to be a very sloppy and very thorough shuffle actually allows you to control multiple cards.
Perfect Control
As the name implies, this amazing move allows you to quickly and invisibly control a card to the top of the deck.
Card to Box
A streamlined, direct, and purely magical way of secretly loading a card into a card box.
The Adjusted Gamblers' False Cut
This beautifully deceptive false cut is one of Andrew’s signature moves. r
Cover Pass
One of the best tutorials for this elusive move. Andrew offers a tip that makes it easier to do and more deceptive.
Turnover Pass
This versatile sleight is often executed incorrectly. Andrew will help you make it a go-to weapon in your arsenal.
Hofzinser Force
Just when we thought we knew everything there is to know about this popular force, Andrew shares a handling that makes it better and more convincing than ever. All of the freedom of a Classic Force without the fear of failure.
