The performer throws out an imaginary and invisible deck of 100 cards into the audience and about 3, 4 or 5 participants are randomly chosen. In a classic 'tossed out deck' style, the performer names the 3 places being merely thought of by the 3 (or 4 or 5) participants. In the mass hypnosis effect variation, all the audience members are thinking of a place or country and the performer is able to name those places in a unique and surprising manner.
